Situated within a housing colony in Jagatpura, Jaipur, this project is an embodiment of contemporary design principles characterized by clean, straight lines. The plot spans an area of 300 square meters, presenting a rectangular proportion. A defining feature of this south-facing residence is its remarkable cantilevered metal roof, a structural marvel spanning 12.2 meters in width by 5 meters in depth (40 feet by 16 feet). This striking architectural element is elegantly supported by two columns discreetly positioned at the rear of this imposing structure, and it is tastefully clad in HPL sheeting that beautifully emulates wood.
The canopy serves a dual purpose, not only enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal of the house but also providing invaluable shading to this sun-soaked south-facing bungalow. Within its walls, this exceptional residence boasts four bedrooms, a well-equipped gym, and a centrally positioned swimming pool on the ground floor. The layout encompasses essential spaces such as a kitchen, dining area, and a spacious living room. Notably, a double-height basement, complemented by a mezzanine floor accessible from the exterior, serves as the client’s dedicated office space, seamlessly blending convenience and functionality.
The interior design exudes contemporary chic, showcasing a harmonious fusion of Cuban and German minimalist influences. Notably, the layout adheres to Vaastu principles, ensuring a well-balanced and harmonious arrangement. Abundant natural daylight floods the interior from both the front and rear, further accentuated by strategically positioned large windows that facilitate excellent cross-ventilation throughout the entire space. This synthesis of form, function, and aesthetics culminates in a truly remarkable dwelling that captivates the senses and exemplifies modern living at its finest.
